Geocaching DDM: N 44° 16.870 W 079° 29.225 (degrees and decimal minutes).
Decimal degrees: 44.2811667, -79.4870833; negative values mean south or west.
DMS: 44° 16′ 52.20″ N, 79° 29′ 13.50″ W.
Validation: Latitude must be −90 to 90; longitude −180 to 180. Minutes and seconds must be below 60.
UTM: Zone (1–60), North or South hemisphere and metre easting/northing. All UTM/UPS output uses WGS84.
MGRS: 17T NE 86309 77770. Zone 17T contains a latitude band, not a hemisphere code. Polar references use UPS grid letters A, B, Y or Z.
Precision: Low-precision MGRS refers to an entire grid square, not an exact location. Output uses the square's centre.
